Pripravili smo načrt osnovnih gradnikov laboratorija, se seznanili z osnovami laboratorijskega dela in izdelali laminarij - brezprašno komoro. Spoznavali smo mikroorganizme, izdelali mikroskope iz odsluženih računalniških kamer in laboratorijsko hrano ter ustvarili inkubator za gojenje mikroorganizmov, ki smo jih gojili. Ker je zdravje na prvem mestu, smo izdelali še antibiotik za ohranjanje mikroorganizmov v ravnovnesju.
Ob zaključku tretjega skolpa [5HEK] smo na zaključni razstavi HAIP Park, Bioradovedni, prejeli še zaslužene diplome.

Petkova akademija je serija delavnic za otroke, mladostnike in radovedne vseh generacij. Skupaj navdušujemo, raziskujemo in ustvarjamo na področjih najsodobnejših dognanj v znanosti, tehnologiji in umetnosti.

Na enotedenski delavnici so otroci s pomočjo treh mentorjev razvijali eksperimentalno glasbilo, ki smo ga poimenovali GrafiDIY (sestavljenka iz grafit in DIY). Glasbila so sestavili iz lepenke, grafita in elektronskega vezja, s pomočjo njih pa je mogoče manipulirati z zvokom. Učili so se osnov elektronike, spajkanja, programiranja Arduino Mini Pro mikrokontrolerja (ki omogoča, da grafitne tipke sprožajo točno določene tone) in razvijali uporabniški vmesnik v obliki klaviature. Spoznali so, kaj je zvok, ton in harmonija, kaj frekvenca, ritem, bas in kateri elementi sestavljajo preprosti zvočni sistem. Svoje grafitne klaviature so lahko preizkusili na profesionalnem zvočnem sistemu v Klubu K4, kjer so izvedli zaključni koncert.

Z laserskim rezalnikom razrezane elemente iz pleksija so sestavili vsak v svojo delujočo robotsko roko. Za dokončno sestavo so uporabili tudi modelarske servo motorčke in arduino krmilno ploščo. Naučili so se tudi osnov programiranja robotskih rok in s pomočjo tega so se naučili razumeti abstraktno kodo. Udeleženci so prejeli Roboroko v trajno last, tako da se bodo lahko naučili še veliko več od tega, kar so spoznali na delavnici.

Sodobna umetnost ni sodobna zgolj v svoji sočasnosti, tj. zato, ker nastaja danes, temveč bistveno tudi v tem, ker se ukvarja z današnjim časom: naslavlja sodobne teme, uporablja  sodobna izrazna sredstva in postopke ter se poslužuje sodobnih načinov prezentacije. Pri sodobni raziskovalni umetnosti (contemporary investigative art) gre za dejavnosti, ki so bolj kot h končnemu umetniškemu predmetu usmerjene v raziskovalni proces in v koncepte, ki jih skozi ta proces razvijajo. Sluzavke so tudi zelo primerne za izvajanje poskusov, saj zelo hitro rastejo, hranimo jih lahko z ovsenimi kosmiči, najdemo jih tudi v gozdu, le svetlobe nimajo najraje.
 
Na sklopu desetih zaporednih delavnic, so se udeleženci in udeleženke spoznali z vsemi posebnostmi sluzavk, izvajali so zanimive poskuse in jih celo vključili v elektronska vezja!
 
5HEK: Petkova akademija na Kersnikovi je serija razburljivih in navdihujočih raziskovanj, učenja in ustvarjanj, da bi bolje razumeli najsodobnejša dognanja v znanosti, umetnosti in družbi.

DOIT prispeva k zaposlovanju mladih in ustvarjanju novih delovnih mest v socialnem gospodarstvu, tako da mlade spodbuja za aktivne socialne inovacije: podjetniško miselnost, znanje in spretnosti. Projekt osnovnošolce in srednješolce (6-16 let) skupaj z učitelji opolnomoči za uporabo metod odprtih inovacij, orodij digitalnih ustvarjalcev in veščin sodelovanja pri reševanju družbenih problemov. Razvil bo zbirke orodij za otroke in tudi moderatorje, ki zagotavljajo dopolnilno znanje in podporo, ki so namenjeni družbenim inovacijam.

Usvojili so laboratorijske tehnike, ki se jih uporablja pri analizi odpadnih voda, se seznanili z encimsko razgradnjo organskih nečistoč v vodi in naredili DIY čistilno napravo. Poleg vodnih problematik so se spoprijeli tudi s proizvodnjo elektrike in sestavili solarni polnilec, ki lahko polni telefone in ostalo elektro-periferijo.

Z usvojenimi tehnikami so lažje izvedli zelo zahtevne manevre genskega spreminjanja bakterij in jih prepričali, da proizvedejo (njim tuj) zeleni fluorescenčni protein (GFP). Na koncu smo še pripravili enostavno fermentacijo s pomočjo mlečnokislinskih bakterij in naredili jogurt.

An immersive environment consists of the main touch screen/desk, auxiliary touch screen monitors, and other inputs (video, sound). AI is an equal participant in the environment and a facilitator of the innovation process, it creates a responsive data scape (to user inputs) and interacts with participants as a dialogue partner in creating the storyline and story scape of the innovation process. CL–GSS can be used for the innovation process where the experts from different fields can adopt the interactive surfaces as the communication and mediation interface between the different knowledge backgrounds they are coming from and for having an AI assistant tailored to the whole research- and process-oriented collaboration. AI helps human collaborators in real time with tasks that would slow them down or present too big of a challenge to execute.
 
The project brought together an artist, designer and web developer Marko Damiš and Foreach Labs, d.o.o., a company offering various solutions in the field of artificial intelligence and immersive environments.

Ecosystem instability and climate change present challenges to human society that are difficult to solve, since thinking about the causes urgently demands a shift in the economic production system that gives meaning to modern industrialized society.The human being – or rather anthropocentrism, which humanistic doxa has established as the measure of all things – instrumentalizes all non-human living beings and the material resources of the planet for its own survival, a planet that is clearly giving way under the strain of such exhaustive exploitation. The survival of nearly ten billion people on one hand and the disintegration of ecological balance on the other raise questions that in themselves already sound dystopian and frighten most people with the prospect of losing the comforts and privileges of consumerist life. Due to overpopulation, pre-industrial modes of production offer no solutions; thus, the crucial question becomes one of technological optimization, which necessarily implies a redefinition of the use of energetic and material resources.

Pioneering research in bioinformatics early on led us to various physiological patterns and systemic connections among living beings. Through the fields of quantum biology and biocomputation we are increasingly approaching technologies that make possible the establishment of symbiotic relations. These relations open up the potential for exchange of information, cohabitation, and coevolution beyond one-sidedly exploitative and extractivist processes. Here, our concern is not only how to replace energy-intensive computation on silicon chips, but above all how to understand and empower non-human living beings as an epistemological corpus through which it becomes possible to speak of forms of thinking. Toda ljudje zaznavamo bistveno več kot razumevamo*, zato je v projektu phasor kritično motrenje človeškega zaznavnega aparata prestavljeno v intenzivno telesno izkušnjo, ki onemogoča natančno orientacijo v prostoru in času kot ju razumemo v linearnih modelih. S sočasnimi efekti, ki kršijo načela linearnih zaznavno-izkustvenih kodifikacij, phasor moti linearno zaporedje misli in s tem tiranijo kartezijanskega kogitiranja ter omogoča hkratno izkušnjo, ki zahteva razširjeno zavedanje večdimenzionalnosti. 

Instalacija posameznemu obiskovalcu ponuja priložnost, da v specifičnem trenutku doživi kompleksno avdio-vizualno izkušnjo, ki je namenoma zasnovana tako, da zavede našo percepcijo. Disk z večkanalnim zvokom in svetlobnimi učinki rotira okoli glave udeleženca ter se na treh nivojih vrtenja nenehno razhaja in zbližuje: zvočnem, svetlobnem in fizičnem vrtenju diska. S pomočjo digitalnega nadzora in možnosti upravljanja neodvisnih hitrosti vseh treh vrtenj instalacija dosega nasprotujoč učinek, namenjen potiskanju udeleženčeve zaznave onkraj njegovih dosedanjih izkušenj.
